The project included design and implementation of big back-end database as well as large import of data. The parts were built: employer interface - where the employer would post a job and create an automated first interview to narrow down the applicants; administrator interface - where the administrator would review the employer created interview and approve the posted job; seeker interface - where the seeker will apply for the job by answering the employer created interview.   America's Job Bank Middle Ware Web Service This middle ware between the web site and the desktop application (below) was written in Java with the help of the Axis project. It was written to interact with the database, pull job application information and provide it to the desktop application.       Empire Medicare Cost Report Online Storage System (CROSS) Internal web based application for storing/searching/versioning cost report files previously stored on the main frame. 6 month long project from design to implementation. Written in ASP.NET with VB.NET using Visual Studio.NET 2003.   Empire Medicare Content Management with Ektron CMS300 Internal implementation of Ektron's CMS300 using Visual Studio.NET 2003. Site design and integration with Ektron's product. The section of the site allows users to view information on the various CAT tools, express their opinion about any particular tool, compare CAT tools by individual features and much more. Setting up online transactions through a 3rd party credit card processing system. Code to email users with invoice of transaction once the transaction was complete. The ProZ.com Blue Board is a way for freelance translators to get feedback on translation agencies before they decide to work for them. Teachers can enter absences which then can be filled online by registered substitutes. Other functions such as generating absence history reports and building by building absences assignment are also built in. This is a tool for both the beginner web site builder as well as more savvy users. This was also my Senior Project for the Department of Computer Science. This project was designed in Photoshop developed in Perl/CGI, and built with Dreamweaver 4 and Xemacs for Windows. Project included design and development of static site with some dynamic contents (list of current students and alumni).   Alfred University Students/Faculty/Staff Directory Online directory where users can lookup student/faculty and staff phone numbers by last name. Written entirely in Perl but now outdated and replaced by ColdFusion. Developed with Visual Studio.NET 2003 and Crystal Reports for MCS Medical Coding Services .   America's Job Bank Sort/Select Prototype Application A windows application to help employers keep track of job applications right from their desktops. The application interacts with a web service on the server side to retrieve newly submitted job applications. Once acquired, the job applications can be sorted and filtered by the user. The web service was written in Java with the help of the Axis project.
